Description Mario Blättermann 2023-09-05 17:10:15 UTC
As the package version (20050219) already says, these man pages are terribly outdated and no longer worth to be published. The manpages-l10n project [1] is already working on importing the old files and merging with up-to-date translation templates. Although their current release 4.20.0 have Korean still disabled for installation, it would be a good idea to retire the man-pages-ko package.

Reproducible: Always

Comment 1 Peng Wu 2023-09-08 03:34:08 UTC
I think I am okay to retire the man-pages-ko package later, if the Korean man pages is available in manpages-l10n upstream.

Comment 2 Mario Blättermann 2023-09-10 13:45:28 UTC
OK, the next upstream release is scheduled around december 5, so let's wait for the time being.

Comment 3 Peng Wu 2023-11-30 09:16:14 UTC
Will the Korean translations be ready to be installed in the next upstream release?

Comment 4 Mario Blättermann 2023-11-30 20:13:31 UTC
I've just enabled it. We expect to roll out v4.21 next days.

Comment 5 Parag Nemade 2024-01-18 07:14:05 UTC
man-pages-ko package has been retired now and its now available as sub-package by man-pages-l10n package
