Description of problem: Can you branch and build ffmpeg for epel10? Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info:
I would love to, but I want ffmpeg v7 in Rawhide first. But also there's a long pile of dependencies for ffmpeg that need to be branched first. So I suggest identifying them and working with folks to get them into EPEL 10.
The missing build deps have been determined from an ffmpeg 6.1.2 build, but that should already give a pretty good picture.
Note that Chromaprint has been built for epel10 w/o ffmpeg support, for the purpose of bootstrapping ffmpeg into epel10. I need to remember to go back and re-build chromaprint w/ ffmpeg support once ffmpeg is in. Adding myself to this bug should remind me.
