Description Dimitris Glezos 2007-03-13 17:03:36 UTC
## Description of problem:

So it seems that the rescue CD (~80MB) can be used to install Fedora over a
network. Now I think Anaconda it has a selection dialog that makes choosing
(askmethod) more prominent. Since this image file is much smaller (compared to
650MB) we could market it as a way to install Fedora over the network.

People who have a USB stick can even avoid burning a CD.

Note: ISO image could be renamed to something more generic (see also #232026).

Comment 1 Dimitris Glezos 2007-03-13 17:06:53 UTC
To make it more clear, although the FIG (-devel branch) does have a section for
USB media and mentions that a rescue or a boot-only media, we could make it more
clear. Not only in FIG, but also in the relnotes and the wiki.

Fixed in CVS for the F7 IG.
