Hi, Please branch and build python-pydata-sphinx-theme in epel10. It seems it is a dependency of python-pygraphviz. Cheers, Romain Reproducible: Always
Hi Romain. I prefer not to get involved in EPEL packaging. I wouldn't mind having a comaintainer who takes care of EPEL, though.
I don't know much the EPEL internal way of working, but maybe this is something for the EPEL Packagers SIG (epel-packagers-sig.org) ? Currently the parent bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2320859 is being assigned to this SIG group.
Sure, if somebody from the SIG wants to comaintain, that is great with me. The alternative is to not build documentation for the EPEL build of python-pygraphviz.
As I noted in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2335575#c1, some of the dependencies here have pretty significant dependency trees of their own. There is nothing *wrong* with branching python-pydata-sphinx-theme for EPEL10, but in most cases, disabling generated documentation in the EPEL10 branch makes more sense than branching and maintaining dozens of packages just to build a manual.
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 42 development cycle. Changing version to 42.
doesn't seem to need python-sphinx-autobuild any more.
