It do not start the application at all in xorg all fine. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click on the icon in the dock 2. waiting for results 3. noting. Actual results: not starting the application Expected results: Opening the application like files / text editor / camera Additional info: Upgradeing from fedora 40 to 41. When i switch back to xorg session it work flawless.
Wayland is just a protocol specification in XML and the low-level C library that deals with the protocol. This issue here is a bug not with the protocol itself but with the desktop environment. Please provide the journalctl logs of your system at the time of the issue so we can move that bug to the right component.

snapshot[8074]: Error 71 (Protocol error) dispatching to Wayland display. I see you're using the NVIDIA proprietary driver on a hybrid graphic laptop, so most likely a duplicate of bug 2301725
