Description of problem: There is no labwc in RHEL9. As RHEL10 will be going entirely to wayland, having alternatives to Gnome/KDE would be beneficial as I suspect that many users besides myself prefer a simple WM to a full blown DE. This is related to my request for labwc at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2330092, and my request for libdrm and xcb-util-errors at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2332393 In answer to my request for labwm, Troy Dawson stated that we'd need wlroots, which, in turn, required librm and xcb-util-errors, hence my request for them.
Is this a request for epel10 or epel9? For epel10, the only packages needed are libdrm xcb-util-errors Bugs have been filed requesting those packages. But for epel9, due to old libraries in RHEL9, the newest wlroots that can be built is wlroots-0.15.1 which is a few years old. If you want that older build, for epel9, then you'll need different dependencies. seatd Which builds fine in epel9
Hi Mr. Dawson. The request is for RHEL9, but actually, the problems will start with 10, as EL9 has X available and can be used with various X window managers. My thought is that I suspect I'm not that much of an edge case--that there will be people who work with RH or variants at work, and would like it at home as well, but would prefer a lighter window manager instead of Gnome. I was able to build wlroots on an EL10 VM using fc40 srpms.

I grabbed the rpm from bodhi and it installed without problem. After that I was able to install labwc-08.2-1 from rpmfind.
