Please branch and build libmodbus in epel10. If you do not wish to maintain libmodbus in epel10, or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner, the epel-packager-sig would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package; please add the epel-packager-sig group through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/libmodbus/addgroup and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches. Please also add me as a co-maintainer (FAS: jonathanspw) through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/libmodbus/adduser
Will you be able to branch and build libmodbus in epel10? I would be happy to be a co-maintainer if you do not wish to build it on epel10 (FAS: jonathanspw).
The current rawhide branch builds against EPEL10 without issue. I am very sorry I missed this request the first time. Yes, I can do this.
When do you think you'll be able to get this built?
Sorry, I've kind of gotten out of the packager role in recent years, a bit too much. I started this task but realized my packager VM was terribly out of date and went down the upgrade path then holidays happened. I'll try to get this going today.
https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/packages/libmodbus/3.1.11/4.el10_2/ should be done now. Very sorry for the delay.
Can you push the update in bodhi so it hits repos? I'm happy to help if you want to add me as a co-maintainer.
Sorry, I am clearly very rusty. Does https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2026-e5cf09bb7c do the trick? Happy to add you as a comaintainer too.
Indeed it does! Can you also build and publish for EPEL 10.1? Thanks!
Do you think you'll be able to build this for EPEL 10.1?
