Description of problem: SELinux is preventing sadc from 'search' accesses on the directory pressure. ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests ************************** If you believe that sadc should be allowed search access on the pressure directory by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access. Do allow this access for now by executing: # ausearch -c 'sadc' --raw | audit2allow -M my-sadc # semodule -X 300 -i my-sadc.pp Additional Information: Source Context system_u:system_r:sysstat_t:s0 Target Context system_u:object_r:proc_psi_t:s0 Target Objects pressure [ dir ] Source sadc Source Path sadc Port <Unknown> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages Target RPM Packages SELinux Policy RPM selinux-policy-targeted-41.35-1.fc42.noarch Local Policy RPM selinux-policy-targeted-41.35-1.fc42.noarch Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Enforcing Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 6.14.0-63.fc42.x86_64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Mon Mar 24 19:53:37 UTC 2025 x86_64 Alert Count 3 First Seen 2025-04-01 18:40:05 CEST Last Seen 2025-04-01 18:40:05 CEST Local ID 5ee5d84c-49b9-47fd-873e-99d644df03d7 Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1743525605.622:418): avc: denied { search } for pid=6659 comm="sadc" name="pressure" dev="proc" ino=4026532088 scontext=system_u:system_r:sysstat_t:s0 tcontext=system_u:object_r:proc_psi_t:s0 tclass=dir permissive=0 Hash: sadc,sysstat_t,proc_psi_t,dir,search Version-Release number of selected component: selinux-policy-targeted-41.35-1.fc42.noarch Additional info: reporter: libreport-2.17.15 reason: SELinux is preventing sadc from 'search' accesses on the directory pressure. package: selinux-policy-targeted-41.35-1.fc42.noarch component: selinux-policy hashmarkername: setroubleshoot type: libreport kernel: 6.14.0-63.fc42.x86_64 component: selinux-policy

I'd like to ask anybody who hits this issue to try the coprbuild from https://github.com/fedora-selinux/selinux-policy/pull/2621 checks -> rpmbuild -> rawhide to check if the fix is complete.
I just tested but I am still seeing a fair few of similar alerts related to directory pressure: sealert -l 2cdb66c2-413a-40f9-aee8-2e8ae1e2a8b9 SELinux is preventing pmdalinux from search access on the directory pressure. ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests ************************** If you believe that pmdalinux should be allowed search access on the pressure directory by default.
