Description Michael 2025-04-01 16:40:43 UTC
Description of problem:
SELinux is preventing sadc from 'search' accesses on the directory pressure.

***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests **************************

If you believe that sadc should be allowed search access on the pressure directory by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# ausearch -c 'sadc' --raw | audit2allow -M my-sadc
# semodule -X 300 -i my-sadc.pp

I'd like to ask anybody who hits this issue to try the coprbuild from

https://github.com/fedora-selinux/selinux-policy/pull/2621
checks -> rpmbuild -> rawhide

to check if the fix is complete.

I just tested but I am still seeing a fair few of similar alerts related to directory pressure:

sealert -l 2cdb66c2-413a-40f9-aee8-2e8ae1e2a8b9
SELinux is preventing pmdalinux from search access on the directory pressure.

If you believe that pmdalinux should be allowed search access on the pressure directory by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
To allow this access for now by executing:
# ausearch -c 'pmdalinux' --raw | audit2allow -M my-pmdalinux
# semodule -X 300 -i my-pmdalinux.pp

Rolling back to 41.34-1.fc42 stops them.
