Description Kaleb KEITHLEY 2025-12-02 18:13:43 UTC
Please branch and build golang-github-prometheus in epel10.

If you do not wish to maintain golang-github-prometheus in epel10,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package (FAS: kkeithle);
please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/golang-github-prometheus/adduser

scratch build at https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=139623838

Thanks

The idea is to use `prometheus` package, but I was not able to complete the review yet.

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2383787

Once that lands Fedora it will be built for EPEL10.

Comment 3 Kaleb KEITHLEY 2026-02-23 23:54:44 UTC
scratch build of the new prometheus pkg at https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=142688354

Comment 4 Mikel Olasagasti Uranga 2026-02-24 12:06:33 UTC
My plan, now that the package rename has been completed, is to test the upgrade from 2.55 to 3.9 in Fedora + EPEL9. For EPEL10 the plan would be to have only 3.9 build available to avoid migrations. I hope to complete all during this week.
