Description of problem:

During installation of F8test3 on my Dell Latitude X1 laptop with 1152 MB of RAM
 from a DVD media using either an external USB DVD/CD drive to boot or via
coping vmlinuz or initrd.img from images/pxeboot to the local hard drive and
pointing the existing grub setup to the files the installer hangs after showing
 the following lines:

trying to remount root filesystem read-write... done
mounting /tmp/ as ramfs... done
running install...
running /sbin/loader

I waited for several minutes, but nothing happens. After the lines were shown,
DVD (during DVD media install) stopped in few seconds while there were no hard
drive activity during the hard drive install.

Alt-F4 console has shown at that moment:

Note that the laptop has neither internal floppy nor internal floppy or CD/DVD.
During installation from the DVD media I used external DVD R/RW drive from
Samsung, model SE-W084. 

Fedora7 had no problems installing on the laptop and F8test3 Live CD also booted
without problems.
