Description of problem:
I have switched network and it now behind a proxiserver. This information
would I like to provide to gnoprm but when I try to open the preferences
window gnorpm stops in a try to reach
http://www.redhat.com/RDF/resources/distribs/metadata.rdf and the vindow
is never showed. I can not cancel the download of the metadata.rdf.

If this is not a bug could You tell me how to enter the preferences
window?

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. kill ordinary service and use proxy
2. try to enter the preferences window
3.
	

Actual Results:  tries to download a file.

Expected Results:  the window should open

This is a bug - gnorpm will eventually time out but the timeout is way way too
long
