Description Michael Forrest 2007-12-12 12:30:13 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #284201 +++

Please note this is still an issue for Fedora 8.

The screenshots for Bug #284201 (a Fedora 7 bug) still apply - exactly the
same behavior observed in Fedora 8.

Have been looking through mesa-demos, but have not yet found an instance
of the same clipping issue. Are there any with similar window layout
(i.e. fixed, non 3d LH side panel with RH side 3d panel all in one frame)?

Note that when I run EXACTLY the sane binary on FC6 (on the same Hardware),
GoogleEarth functions normally.

Can someone help me out here, please? This bug limits my ability to effectively
us GoogleEarth with recent both Fedora 8 and 7 - and 6 has now gone past EOL.

I would be happy to test a rawhide mesa package if that's what we need to do to
get this issue resolved.

BTW is the close to zero response from Fedora developers because it occurs
with closed source GoogleEarth?

Michael, sorry for not responding, but making duplicates of this bug for
different components doesn't help. Closing this as duplicate of your original bug.
