Used to work on Sun's JRE 1.5.0 and Fedora Core 5.
Broken on Fedora 8 and IcedTea.

Still works with Sun's JRE 1.6.0_03 and Fedora 8.

Fix is to:

$ pwd
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
$ root ln -s /usr/java/jre1.6.0_03/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so .

Applet uses javascript. This has not yet been implemented
