Description of problem: I have a particular OpenDocument document (written from scratch in OO Writer) which now crashes OO every time I open it. The crashes started happening shortly after I vertically split a table cell in a complicated table and then started editing some text in one half of the newly-split cell. Attached is the crash log. The document is unfortunately not publically distributable. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): openoffice.org-writer-2.3.0-6.11.fc8 How reproducible: Every time, with this particular document.

Might be http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=82698 which will be fixed in 2.4.0, I'd need to have the doc to be sure. If you want you can mail it to me personally and I can have a look.
Do you want to try and mail it directly to me and "trust me", otherwise I'll assume that is is the same as the very similar looking http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=82698
I can't really distribute it; however it does sound like the upstream issue. I can't easily discern from the upstream bugtracker which (if any) released version it has made it in to; if you can decipher this better than me and it's made it into a Fedora package (albeit rawhide) then let me know and I'll give it a shot.
Hmm, indeed. If its the same problem then it should work with 2.4.0 as found in rawhide or the F-9 Beta
