Per posting at fedora-music-list, Fernando is a bit busy right now, so I'm posting a qsynth update on his behalf.
I'm going to push the qt4-based qsynth 0.3.3 to Rawhide; unless anyone objects, I'll also upgrade the F9 version to 0.3.3? The fewer applications we carry that use Qt3, the better: one less place to go to tweak fonts.
qsynth-0.3.3-1.fc9 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 9.
qsynth-0.3.3-1.fc9 has been pushed to the Fedora 9 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
If you want to test the update, you can install it with
su -c 'yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update qsynth'. You can provide feedback for this update here: http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/F9/FEDORA-2008-7793
