Description of problem:
When the display on which OpenOffice.org Impress is running is a VNC server
(Xvnc), any attempt to run a slide show causes an immediate crash.

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Start VNC server (Xvnc):  vncserver :7 -geometry 1260x890 -depth 16
-SecurityTypes None
2.  Connect to VNC server:  vncviewer -FullColor :7
3.  Start OpenOffice.org Impress within VNC session and attempt to run a slide
4.  Enjoy the crashy goodness!
Actual results:

Expected results:
No crash.  Working slide show.

Additional info:
Problem does not occur on Fedora 8 (openoffice.org-impress-2.3.0-6.14.fc8).

RHEL-5.2 vnc doesn't have a RENDER extension IIRC, xdpyinfo | grep RENDER
probably says nothing at all
