Comment 2 IBM Bug Proxy 2008-08-28 22:30:23 UTC
is this feature request accepted?

Comment 3 John Jarvis 2008-08-29 14:35:15 UTC
No, not yet accepted. We are still early in the feature review process for 4.8.

Comment 4 John Jarvis 2008-10-06 19:17:34 UTC
This enhancement request was evaluated by the full Red Hat Enterprise Linux team
for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux minor release. As a result of this
evaluation, Red Hat has tentatively approved inclusion of this feature in the
next Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update minor release. While it is a goal to
include this enhancement in the next minor release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux,
the enhancement is not yet committed for inclusion in the next minor release
pending the next phase of actual code integration and successful Red Hat and
partner testing.

Comment 6 Gurhan Ozen 2009-02-17 00:52:17 UTC
4.8 is updated to and verified with ofed 1.4 .

Comment 7 IBM Bug Proxy 2009-03-04 00:10:45 UTC
Installed OFED 1.4 in RHEL4.8 alpha (2.6.9-81.ELsmp) on a pair of IBM HS21 blades connected by a DDR switch. The install and startup of the openibd , related libraries and modules worked without errors. Performed client/server tests of ib_uverbs and ib_ipoib interfaces. All the tests completed successfully and performed as expected.
