The nodoka notification theme cuts of some text vertically in some situations, whereas the standard theme works correctly. The screenshots where taken with notify-send "Disconnected" "The network connection has been disconnected"

Thanks for the report. Seem like I inherited a standard theme bug at the time I forked it. I'll check if the patch (notification-dameon-clipping.patch), currently shipped with notification-daemon, in bug #441099 fixes the issue as well. Do you know if there is any info why we additionally removed gtk_widget_set_size_request function call in our patch in create_notification function, compared to upstream proposed one [1]? [1] http://trac.galago-project.org/attachment/ticket/162/notify_fix.patch Anyway, I'll try both to see if there's any difference.
Ok, just checked both patches, the one that works is the one we carry in our notification-daemon package. I'll push the patch upstream (nodoka) and add it to the rpm soonish.
Should be fixed in tomorrow's rawhide. http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=56445
