Description of problem: After bugzilla is changed to 3.2, it seems that every time I browse a bugzilla report, "Add myself to CC list" check box is automatically checked. This is unwilling, because as packaging sponsor member I frequently "modify" packaging review requests (like modifying flags, assignee and so on). Also for pkgdb sysadmins (like Kevin) this is unwilling because each time cvs admin writes "cvs done", he/she is added to CC member Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.2 For example: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=457492 Usually when cvs admin procedure is done Kevin writes "cvs done" and sets fedora-cvs flag to +, but doesn't add himself to CC member.
Hi Mamoru, You can change that behavior of having the email of the logged in user always checked in to be added to the cclist of the bug report by doing the following: 1- login to bugzilla 2- click the "References" tab 3- make sure you are in the "General Preferences" tab 4- choose from the list "Automatically add me to the CC list of bugs I change"-> Never or any other option you like , but Never should be best for your case i guess. I hope this solution will be sufficient for you. Cheers, Noura

Thank you. Seems to be working good. Then can I ask another question here? On bugzilla 3.2 the column "Additional Comments" is shown before the commentes already submitted. While this may be preferable when user set "When viewing a bug, show comments in this order" to "Newest to oldest", however usually to follow reading order I usually want "oldest to Newest". Then can I show "Additional Comments" on the bottom of the comments already submitted?
yeah actually this is how the new user interface looks like now, the comments are the last thing in the page. as you said you can set the order to "Newest To Oldest". There are few things in the new user interface that are different to 2.18 and by time you will get used to it, for example now all the bug status/resolution/assignment change are in the top part of the report whereas in 2.18 it was at the bottom of the bug report. Cheers, Noura
Okay. Once closing. Thank you.
no problem :)
