RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Comment 5 George Beshers 2009-10-16 19:43:54 UTC
SGI is requesting that the following OFED components
be included for RHEL6:

 - infiniband-diags package
 - perftest package
 - qperf package

 Thanks, George

Comment 6 Doug Ledford 2010-01-21 17:51:37 UTC
All of the SGI package requests are met as of the Beta. However, please note that the packages are pulled from upstream, and not from OFED. Going forward in RHEL6 we will be pulling all InfiniBand related code from upstream (from the upstream Linus kernel for kernel code and from the various upstream package maintainers for individual packages). So if people have specific requests for a certain feature in a certain package, then they need to request that specific package be updated.

Comment 7 Bill Nottingham 2010-01-21 18:36:11 UTC
Assigning to distribution, as this was a package request.

Comment 8 Suzanne Logcher 2010-01-21 20:52:21 UTC
According to the latest builds, the following package version are in 6.0:

infiniband-diags-1.5.3-1.el6
perftest-1.2.3-1.el6
qperf-0.4.6-1.el6

Comment 11 Philip Pokorny 2010-04-23 00:33:45 UTC
Need updated kernel patches from 1.5 to support new Qlogic IB cards.

Driver has been renamed in OFED 1.5 and the ib_ipath.ko in RHEL 5.x and 6 Beta does not support many of the current cards sold by Qlogic.
