I've added compat-dapl-utils to comps FAILS_QA: compat-dapl-utils is in comps.xml but the ppc64 rpm package is missing: For all arches the entry in comps is: <packagereq type="default">compat-dapl-utils</packagereq> Alex, on which compose did you test it?
{Server,Client}-20081020.{0,1} ?
Server-20081020.1 compat-dapl-utils.ppc64 was included in RHEL5.3-Server-20081029.0: # find -name 'compat-dapl-utils*' ./i386/os/Server/compat-dapl-utils-2.0.13-4.el5.i386.rpm ./ia64/os/Server/compat-dapl-utils-2.0.13-4.el5.ia64.rpm ./ppc/os/Server/compat-dapl-utils-2.0.13-4.el5.ppc.rpm ./ppc/os/Server/compat-dapl-utils-2.0.13-4.el5.ppc64.rpm ./x86_64/os/Server/compat-dapl-utils-2.0.13-4.el5.x86_64.rpm An advisory has been issued which should help the problem described in this bug report. According RT#29443 we need to add compat-dapl-utils to comps: > > > As a result of bug #465841, I've added a new subpackage to the dapl > > > primary package. The new subpackage is compat-dapl-utils and it needs > > > to be present on all arches, and on ppc we need both the ppc and ppc64 > > > versions of the package present in the tree. > > > > > Doug, > > do we want this subpackage in comps? > > It probably should be in comps too. > > > There are already compat-dapl, compat-dapl-devel and compat-dapl-static > > packages in the OFED group. > > Right, I'd just add it there. This means we should add compat-dapl-utils to OFED group and make it multilib on ppc. The package is pulled into composes, but is not in the installation menu.
