Description Ulrich Drepper 2008-12-05 00:43:46 UTC
Description of problem:
With F10, when I unplug my USB wacom tablet the X server crashes (session terminates) or it hangs with a black screen (probably also a crashed server, just not cleanly exiting).

This is with an Intel 965 chipset, in case it matters.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.5.3-5.fc10.x86_64
kernel-2.6.27.5-117.fc10.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.plug in USB wacom tablet
2.use it
3.unplug it

Actual results:
crashing server

Expected results:
no crash

Additional info:
Worked fine in F9.

Thanks for the bug report. We have reviewed the information you have provided above, and there is some additional information we require that will be helpful in our diagnosis of this issue.

Please attach your X server config file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf, if available) and X server log file (/var/log/Xorg.*.log) to the bug report as individual uncompressed file attachments using the bugzilla file attachment link below.

We will review this issue again once you've had a chance to attach this information.

Thanks in advance.

Dupe of Bug #473767?

Comment 3 Ulrich Drepper 2008-12-08 01:25:59 UTC
I updated linuxwacom to 0.8.0.3-6 and see no crashes anymore. So, seems like a dupe.
