rpm -q amarok dbus kdelibs please. Consider testing: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/F10/FEDORA-2008-11417 to see if it helps for you.
[peeter@peeter ~]$ rpm -q amarok dbus kdelibs amarok-2.0-2.fc10.i386 dbus-1.2.8-1.fc10.i386 kdelibs-4.1.3-4.fc10.i386 I'm not sure I know how to test this update. Will look into it during weekend.
Managed to get this update and now: [peeter@peeter ~]$ rpm -q amarok dbus kdelibs amarok-2.0-2.fc10.i386 dbus-1.2.4-2.fc10.i386 kdelibs-4.1.3-4.fc10.i386 But nothing changes with Amarok.
For folks still seeing this, if you haven't done so here already, please provide the following information: rpm -q amarok dbus kdebase-workspace are desktop effects or compiz in use? what video hw/driver is in use?
I have the exact same problem. I did not try to remove anything. rpm -q amarok dbus kdebase-workspace amarok-2.0-2.fc10.i386 dbus-1.2.4-2.fc10.i386 kdebase-workspace-4.1.3-7.fc10.i386 are desktop effects or compiz in use? No. what video hw/driver is in use? $ yum list *nvidia* Loaded plugins: downloadonly, kmdl, priorities, refresh-packagekit 0 packages excluded due to repository priority protections Installed Packages kmod-nvidia.i686 177.82-1.fc10.6 installed kmod-nvidia-2.6.27.5-117.fc10.i686.i686 177.82-1.fc10.4 installed kmod-nvidia-2.6.27.7-134.fc10.i686.i686 177.82-1.fc10.6 installed xorg-x11-drv-nvidia.i386 177.82-1.fc10 installed xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs.i386 177.82-1.fc10 installed See the attached xorg.conf file.

[peeter@peeter ~]$ rpm -q amarok dbus kdebase-workspace amarok-2.0-2.fc10.i386 dbus-1.2.4-2.fc10.i386 kdebase-workspace-4.1.3-7.fc10.i386 Desktop effects are not enabled. Also compize is not in use. I have Lifebook E8210 laptop with Intel wideocard. Don't know how to check what driver is in use.
I haven't seen this yet (I'll have to try Amarok 2.0 final on my laptop with F10), but this looks pretty clearly like a regression in Amarok 2.0 final to me. This was rushed to stable due to 4 people giving +1 comments with no details whatsoever on what testing, if any, they did. I think we should really disable karma automatism for all further updates and not push version updates to stable without at least one week in testing.
FWIW, I can't reproduce this bug, amarok-2.0-2.fc10.x86_64 WORKSFORME.

This helped: $ rm ~/.kde/share/config/amarok*
That worked for me too.
Since we have a working fix see comment <a href="https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=476898#c13">#13</a>. Going to close this.
Let's go with closed->upstream (even though they still don't acknowledge the bug, unfortunately).
