Install an S3 Virge video card 3. Boot at runlevel 2 (just to avoid X failing and restarting) 4. xorg-x11-drv-s3virge-1.10.2-1.fc10 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 10. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/xorg-x11-drv-s3virge-1.10.2-1.fc10
I confirm that the Virge driver on the same system is working fine without xorg.conf with xorg-x11-drv-s3virge-1.10.2-1.fc10. The bug can be closed now.
xorg-x11-drv-s3virge-1.10.2-1.fc10 has been pushed to the Fedora 10 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
