It's also happening to me. It crashes almost always after 10 minutes of inactivity, when the monitor is put into suspend mode.

It's a default installation from Fedora 11 Snapshot 1 with all updates. GDM version is gdm-2.26.1-3.fc11.i586.

The only thing I've changed is the option /apps/gdm/simple-greeter/disable_user_list from GConf, like this:

gconftool-2 --direct --config-source xml:readwrite:/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.mandatory
   --type boolean --set /apps/gdm/simple-greeter/disable_user_list true

I've also attached GDM messages in /var/log/messages.
