+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #479288 +++

The new FCoE CNA's ( Converged Network Adapters ) support an ethernet function too which requires it's own driver. This driver, QLGE, is upstream in 2.6.28.

Comment 1 Andrius Benokraitis 2009-06-03 21:43:59 UTC
QLogic - do you have PCI IDs for this?

Comment 2 Marcus Barrow 2009-06-03 23:00:45 UTC
These are the ID's:

	NIC	-- 0x8000
	FCoE	-- 0x8001

Comment 3 Phil Knirsch 2009-06-08 12:45:32 UTC
Both have been submitted and approved upstream, granting Devel ACK.

Thanks & regards, Phil

Marcus - can you test the PCI ID includes all made it?

Comment 12 Chris Ward 2009-09-01 13:20:52 UTC
Marcus, any testing result updates? We've verified in-house, but we'd like to hear feedback from you too if you've had a chance to test.

Comment 13 Marcus Barrow 2009-09-01 13:46:12 UTC
I verified the FC side of this same card a couple of days ago.

I believe this was covered in testing of the snapshots.
