Description of problem:

Thunderbird 3 release 2.8.b4.fc11 doesn't play wav sounds

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set any wav file as the alert
2. Click on Play button to test the new wav file
3. There is no sound
  
Actual results:

No sound

Expected results:

The wav file should play

We filed this bug in the upstream database (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=524840) and believe that it is more appropriate to let it be resolved upstream.

We will continue to track the issue in the centralized upstream bug tracker, and will review any bug fixes that become available for consideration in future updates.
