Description of problem: Occasionally when a tool tip is displayed for something on a panel a hole of the same shape shows up in the panel. (You see the background image instead of the gray of the panel.) This hole sticks around until something is redrawn over it. It starts out as the size and shape of the tool tip (as close as I can tell). It can get redrawn over in parts. I don't know how to reliably reproduce the issue. This has occured on two systems so far. One has an rv280 and the other an rv530 based video card. I haven't seen it on my system with the nvidia based card, but i use that machine a lot less. It does seem to happen relatively more often on the machine with the rv530 card than the one with the rv280. But it may or may not be related to the video card. I first noticed this a few weeks ago. At that time a other bad stuff was happening with the video support so I didn't worry about it much.
