Description of problem: Scrolling un-focused browser window behind a focused window causes graphical corpution in the broswer window that does not redraw without intervention.

How reproducible: 100%


Steps to Reproduce:
1. open a browser and navigate to a site.
2. open a new window like Empathy or GNOME Terminal and maintain focus
3. scroll the browser window below the focused window.
  
Actual results: Graphical corpution in the broswer window


Expected results: No graphical corpution in the broswer window.

Note that this is only apparent with no compositing manager active.

I can reproduce this bug here at will. I do not believe this is a F12 release blocker, but it'd be nice to have this in as a 0-day fix. Dave, would your 'emergency patch' address this?
