Description of problem: I tried to install F12 (rc3) from a usb-dvd drive on my HP 2133. But no installation media is detected. The following screen offers me to select the partition in which the installation image is located. Also LiveCD crashes: No root device found. Boot has failed, sleeping forever. It seems like, the modules for usb install are not implemented? Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): F12 rc3 How reproducible: F12 alpha and beforde (F9, F10) do fine. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot install media 2. 3. Actual results: No drivers for usb cd seem to be loaded. Expected results: To be able to install F12 on HP 2133. I'm seeing the install media problem (duplicate of bug #539720 ?) but the LiveCD works fine.
This message is a reminder that Fedora 12 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 12.
