The modifications in the /etc/kde/kdm/kdmrc made in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=475890 do NOT work for me when using rhgb on any of my intel-graphics or nvidia-graphics (using nouveau) machines. The system will boot and the nice Fedora logo in the middle of the screen will "fill" to the point where KDM normally starts, but it never does no matter how long I leave it there. I am also not able to login via ssh at this point. If i hit "ESC" during the rhgb or remove the rhgb option from the grub kernel parameters, then KDM will open and I can login. When the problem occurs, my Xorg.0.log.old reveals: (++) using VT number 7 Fatal server error: xf86OpenConsole: VT_WAITACTIVE failed: Interrupted system call
