Description info@kobaltwit.be 2010-01-26 13:08:54 UTC
Description of problem:
Current stable RHEL ships with swig v1.3.29. This release has some issues with the guile wrapper that make it fail on the "inline" keyword in headers.

This issue has been fixed in version 1.3.30, but that version had a serious regression for the python component. This regression is fixed in 1.3.31.

So this bug is a request to update swig to 1.3.31. This would re-enable RHEL as a development platform for applications that embed guile (such as GnuCash).
