+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #525449 +++ Description of problem: I've changed default browser from firefox to midori, but links from evolution are still opened in firefox. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): evolution-2.28.2-1.fc12.i686 How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Change default browser from gnome's default to seamokey 2. Clink on FTP link in evolution Actual results: FTP Link opened in firefox Expected results: FTP Link opened in seamonkey Additional info: gnome-appearance-properties I set default browser to seamonkey but I click in a FTP link and gives me a stupid error : Could not open the link: Failed to execute child process "/usr/lib/firefox-3.5.3/firefox" (No such file or directory) how I change this behavior ?

And with a stupid messages Could not open the link: Failed to execute child process "/usr/lib/firefox-3.5.3/firefox" (No such file or directory) This is not the same problem, I use KDE
more if I put firefox again on gnome-default-applications-properties, _FTP_ links still gives me the stupid message Could not open the link: Failed to execute child process "/usr/lib/firefox-3.5.3/firefox" (No such file or directory) because I have install firefox on /usr/lib/firefox-3.5.6/ I reboot the machine , and still have the problem . but this is only with FTP links like ftp://blabla.com
