Description Ed McKenzie 2001-12-11 17:57:10 UTC
up2date SDL-devel pulled in the following libs:

kdelibs
kdelibs-sound
qt-devel
kdelibs-devel
kdelibs-sound-devel
SDL-devel

Comment 1 Bernhard Rosenkraenzer 2001-12-13 13:05:23 UTC
No, they're actually needed.

SDL links to arts, which is in kdelibs-sound.

sdl-config --libs says:
[...] -lartsc [...]

Therefore you need kdelibs-sound-devel to link an SDL application.

In the next release, arts will be separated from kdelibs. Until then, these
libraries are all but superfluous.
