Description of problem: Pinta, a simple Mono-based GTK paint program, is being actively developed and has just released version 0.2. It fills the niche for a simple painting and image editing program for GNOME/GTK that is not currently being fulfilled by any program. See this site: http://www.pinta-project.com/ for more information. I think we should consider adding it to the repos to encourage development of it. According to the website, "Pinta is licensed under the MIT X11 open source license." Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Pinta 0.2 How reproducible: NA Steps to Reproduce: NA Actual results: NA Expected results: NA Additional info:
Unfortunately this was opened as a package review ticket, and I see no package to review so I've no choice but to close this ticket. The package review procedure should be used only if you are actually offering to maintain a package and are actually submitting a completed package for review. If you wish to request that packages be added to the distribution, please edit the wishlist at http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackageMaintainers/WishList
Even better, someone already submitted this for review. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 569038 ***
...and he'd appreciate a review over there. :)
