Is hornsey dead upstream? The URL is 404: http://git.moblin.org/cgit.cgi/hornsey Also can't find it linked from anywhere on http://moblin.org or anywhere in http://git.moblin.org/cgit.cgi The latest version in CVS 1.84 fails to build from source: checking for DEPS... configure: error: Package requirements ("clutter-1.0 clutter-imcontext-0.1 clutter-gtk-0.10 mx-1.0 bognor-regis-0.6 >= 0.6.0 unique-1.0 >= 1.0.6 libstartup-notification-1.0 >= 0.9 libnotify xtst gtk+-2.0 tracker-client-0.7 clutter-gst-1.0") were not met: No package 'tracker-client-0.7' found (http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/getfile?taskID=2122792&name=build.log) presumably because tracker is too new (it's at 0.8) and is currently causing broken deps in both F-13 and rawhide. This should either be updated, if possible or blocked/retired/orphaned from rawhide. Or if the project changed name, a package change of name review request opened.
Its not dead upstream. Its part of the Moblin/MeeGo project and has had its code removed while they migrate the project over. Also its waiting for tracker 0.8 to get into Fedora 13 bug for that is 569302

Is there no way to access the development version in the meantime? Seems like a very slapdash way of migrating to just take down all the code. Why couldn't they leave it up (at least read-only) while migrating? Before they pulled it, was there a very upstream that could handle 0.8? > Also its waiting for tracker 0.8 to get into Fedora 13 bug for that is bug #569302 tracker 0.8 is now in Fedora (at least in rawhide), see the deps here: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/getfile?taskID=2122792&name=root.log the problem appears to be that tracker 0.8 is too new (hornsey is expecting tracker 0.7). Something needs to be done in the meantime as it is causing broken deps, perhaps backport to an older version in the meantime? (since 1.8.4 hasn't been tagged it wouldn't be too late to do this without an Epoch tag).
OK, I see that the F-13 version is still on 1.5.2, I'm doing a scratch rebuild now to see if that fixes the broken deps: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=2122859

I think it's bug #565242
(In reply to comment #5) > I think it's bug #565242 Nope. its bug 581532

(In reply to comment #6) > (In reply to comment #5) > > I think it's bug #565242 > > Nope. its bug 581532 OK, so when this update is pushed to stable: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/gupnp-vala-0.6.6-1.fc13,gir-repository-0.6.5-7.fc13,gupnp-av-0.5.5-1.fc13,gupnp-0.13.3-4.fc13,gssdp-0.7.2-1.fc13,vala-0.8.0-1.fc13 does that mean that gupnp / gir-repository will install OK as a BuildRequires?
> does that mean that gupnp / gir-repository will install OK as a BuildRequires? Yes. I'm looking at the 1.5.1 version at the moment in conjuction with the Moblin 2.1 components. It seems that Moblin 2.2 / Meego 1.0 UX won't be out in time so I'm cross checking everything in Moblin 2.1 so that we have a working Moblin interface of some description.
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=2123464 Building in rawhide. Will be doing so in F-13 shortly but will need some deps tagged in.
