Description of problem:

In 85-usbmuxd.rules the  (RUN+="/usr/sbin/usbmuxd -u -U usbmux") needs to be changed to (RUN+="/usr/sbin/usbmuxd -u -U usbmuxd") or else usbmuxd will fail to start. 


cat /var/log/messages  | grep usbmuxd


usbmuxd[2880]: [0] Dropping privileges failed, check if user 'usbmux' exists!
