Description of problem: Trying to view a PNG (double click on it) does nothing. If I open first a JPG and use the navegation arrows the PNG's show ok. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): eog-2.30.1-1.fc13.i686 How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create some PNG fiels (with GIMP) on the same directory of some JPG 2. Double click on the PNG file. Actual results: The cursos changes.. wait.. nothing happens! Expected results: eos opens and show the image Additional info: 3. Double click on a JPG image on the same directory (eog opens instantly.) 4. Use the arrows to navigate the directory, the PNGs will show without a problem. Now, if you right click on the PNG and tell it to Open, eog will open empty and if you navigate trough the directory no image is showed (not even the JPGs). Not sure if it matters, Im on Nvidia drivers v195.36.31
I'm not able to reproduce this for png files on my f-13 box. Can you attach a sample image for which you have this issue? Also see if you can invoke it form command line in gnome-terminal: eog sample.png

starting eog from gnome-terminal have 3 posible results at random: $eog calibration.png 1. Opens as expected 2. Opens an empty window (but the icon on the window menu shows the image). If i move around the icon is updated but no images shows on the main window. 3. Nothing happens.. but the process is alive (sleeping). repeating the command has one of the above results.. no apparent pattern. Regards, Andrés.
