Description Cristian Ciupitu 2010-07-30 11:26:41 UTC
Description of problem:
kid3 uses the deprecated "x-directory/normal" MIME type.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kid3-1.4-1.fc13.x86_64

How reproducible:
Everytime

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run update-desktop-database, I think.
For me it appears when I run yum update and some packages are updated, e.g.:
	  NetworkManager-openconnect.x86_64 0:0.8.1-1.fc13
	  NetworkManager-vpnc.x86_64 1:0.8.1-1.fc13
	  arpack.x86_64 0:2.1-12.fc13
	  python-virtinst.noarch 0:0.500.3-4.fc13
	  smc-fonts-common.noarch 0:4.4-1.fc13
	  smc-meera-fonts.noarch 0:4.4-1.fc13
	  virt-manager.noarch 0:0.8.4-2.fc13

Actual results:
Warning in file "/usr/share/applications/fedora-kid3.desktop": usage of MIME type "x-directory/normal" is discouraged ("x-directory" is an old media type that should be replaced with a modern equivalent)

Expected results:
No warnings.

Because the other bug was marked as "CLOSED", my initial search didn't find the duplicate. Sorry about this.
