While the warning comes from gtk, this is not a gtk bug.
Then what component should it be assigned to?
Given that gedit and empathy are the applications where you see the mixed linking, I would recommend those.

what was the fix for this? bugs #662801 and #723307 refer to the exact same problem, but for gnome-phone-manager in F15. Maybe somebody who "fixed" it for these packages could provide a hint how to fix the build-process for that package as well.
