Comment 2 RHEL Product and Program Management 2010-09-08 07:18:01 EDT
Thank you for your bug report. This issue was evaluated for inclusion
in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Unfortunately, we
are unable to address this request in the current release. Because we
are in the final stage of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 development, only
significant, release-blocking issues involving serious regressions and
data corruption can be considered.

If you believe this issue meets the release blocking criteria as
defined and communicated to you by your Red Hat Support representative,
please ask your representative to file this issue as a blocker for the
current release. Otherwise, ask that it be evaluated for inclusion in
the next minor release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Comment 17 Gerd Hoffmann 2011-01-04 10:01:06 EST
There are more regressions (bug #655691, bug #662590, bug #663000). Also the original issue is gone with the updated schedule for RHEV (2.3 being based on RHEL-6.1 not RHEL-6.0.z). The patch will be reverted.
Comment 18 Gerd Hoffmann 2011-01-04 10:04:44 EST
Needs also be reverted for z-stream (bug #653334).
Comment 19 Miya Chen 2011-03-28 00:56:17 EDT
Hi, Gerd
when will the patch be reverted? Please help to follow it, thanks.

Gerd is on a long PTO, Alon, can you take over?

Hi Dor,

I just want to make sure I understand what this bug is about: is it about migration between a rhel-6.0 machine and rhel-6.1, and the other direction? i.e. between a qxl device and spice server in rhel-6.1 to/from rhel-6.0?

Alon
Comment 22 Dor Laor 2011-03-28 08:50:11 EDT
I'm not sure what's the point here. Such migration shouldn't be supported so it looks like if that's the case you can close this bug
Comment 31 Golita Yue 2011-04-14 05:05:19 EDT
According to comment #24 and #27, the above 7 bugs was verified, and didn't find new issue. The details of bug testing information please refer to every bugs' comment.

So this bug was verified.
