This should be fixed in libucil-0.9.8-4.fc13. If not, please try again with properly installed debuginfo. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 627890 ***
libucil-0.9.8-4.fc13 already installed. However glibc now updated. Now no crash but no image with stated camera. Vega USB camera works o.k. Neximage works with Camstream and xawtv. thanks, CE.
Unfortunately, I don't have the same HW to test it with. Did you try different settings? Did it make any difference?
I did try other settings (e.g. raw philips mode) and this made no improvement and after a while the Afina device (this is how the NexImage is recognised) became unavailable.
Tried all available video modes and resolutions to no avail. Image is black (or yellow on some resolutions).
I have no idea if this is a bug of unicap libraries or something else, and to be honest, I am not sure how to debug it properly, as I am new to that packages and only fixed a few crasher bugs there. I suggest you to raise the issue at upstream forum, in order to get their position on it: http://unicap-imaging.org/forums/
