abrt version: 1.1.14 architecture: x86_64 Attached file: backtrace cmdline: evolution comment: I have a cyrus-imap server. Evolution on my laptop connects to that, no problems there. So, the imap server is fine I believe. My desktop system, on which I do most of my mailing, is not working. This is troublesome as I use that system for most of my business. The laptop is a backup/portable sytem. component: evolution crash_function: g_str_hash executable: /usr/bin/evolution kernel: 2.6.35.6-48.fc14.x86_64 package: evolution-2.32.1-1.fc14 rating: 4 reason: Process /usr/bin/evolution was killed by signal 11 (SIGSEGV) release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) time: 1291235835 uid: 500 How to reproduce ----- 1. Cleared out 4000+ mails from waste basket 2. Closed system 3. Rebooted (next day) 4. Evolution crashes when starting (every time)

Thanks for a bug report. I moved this upstream as [1]. Please see [1] for any further updates. Meanwhile I would try a workaround, as it seems the summary for your trash got corrupted somehow. If you could try to close evolution and rename ~/.local/share/evolution/mail/imap/<account> to some other name, and let evolution fetch all the data from the server again, which will also rebuild local summaries, then it may possibly fix the issue for now. The only drawback is that it'll fetch all the information from the server again, which may take some time, depending on your folder sizes. [1] https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=636274
