Created attachment 474015 [details] Broken menu Menu at the top is ugly on my LCD with native width 1024 px. Version - 0.6.2, and it was not better in any past version. How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set the width of your browser window to 1024 px 2. Open http://beaker.engineering.redhat.com WebUI 3. Log in as 'jsarenik' or other long login name. Actual results: Menu is broken into two lines. Expected results: Should be everything on one line. (I will rather scroll horizontally, i.e. setting the menu to fixed minimal width would work for me). Additional info: See attached screenshot. The most funny is that increasing the width only by few (virtual in my case) pixels makes the menu appear on one line only.
I would rather see any/all of: - smaller Beaker logo - no "Hello" string - some white space on left, right and perhaps between items removed than horizontal scrolling which should be only last resort: I hate having things hidden "behind the corner."
I was sitting down with one of the sys admins here and I noticed the same thing with his very narrow browser window. I too would rather not have horizontal scrolling.

Bug 887321 points out that this also has the consequence of making the left-hand menu items unclickable.

The majority of the issues here have been fixed with the web UI refresh in 0.15. The menu bar correctly collapses inwards at all widths. However we can go one further, and hide some superfluous menu items when the viewport is narrow to save a bit of space: http://gerrit.beaker-project.org/2294
verified on beaker-devel Version 0.15.0(2013-10-10)-->pass steps: 1. Set the width of browser window to 1024 px 2. visit beaker-devel homepage 3. Log in as admin/normal accouts. Actual results: same as expected results. Expected results: Should be everything on one line on top menu.
beaker 0.15.1 has been released.
