Description of problem:
When I try to run boinc_client as a normal user I always get the message "Another instance of BOINC is running.". However, no instance seems to actually be running, and no mention of boinc can be found in the output of "px ax"

6.10.58 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run "boinc_client" as a normal user

Actual results:
The text "Another instance of BOINC is running." is outputted

Expected results:
The program starts normally

You cannot run boinc as normal user, it has its own boinc user and group.

Seems to me that the erroneous error message is a bug if there is, in fact, not another instance running (as the program claims)
