Description Rudolf Kastl 2011-03-26 11:40:47 UTC
Description of problem:
mumble 1.2.3 has been released by upstream as stable. it has many neat enhancements and works like a charm (running test builds with around 50 clients since a whole while on f14. Unfortunately because of the other outstanding bugs 1.2.2 builds are broken on f14 and up and since f14 release. (because of packaging bugs).

It would be nice to finally see a working mumble build in f14 and while fixing the packaging bugs its probably more than worth to upgrade to the latest stable release.

Will have the update out by wed evening definitely.

Comment 2 Rudolf Kastl 2011-03-29 11:31:31 UTC
thanks andreas. will this also fix the celt library probs? afaik celt 0.7.1 and celt 0.11 will be required. 0.7.1 always as least common denominator for compat with windows builds / mac builds / older builds.

Comment 3 Andreas Osowski 2011-03-29 14:44:56 UTC
celt 0.11 is available in >f15.
celt 0.7.1 ... well...
I've been waiting for #641572 to be reviewed for almost half a year, but I think that I can make it a subpackage. I need to consult the guidelines again.
