Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 694816
postgres-8 resource agent does not detect a failed start of postgres server
Last modified: 2015-04-01 12:17:58 EDT
Created attachment 511908 [details] Proposed patch Patch is same as for RHEL-5 (it is not in upstream yet).
After fix: [root@ask-04 ~]# rpm -q resource-agents rgmanager resource-agents-3.9.2-2.el6.x86_64 rgmanager-3.0.12.1-2.el6.x86_64 Postgres fails to start (due to selinux issues), but clustat recognizes it and marks the service as stopped. [root@ask-04 ~]# clusvcadm -e serv Local machine trying to enable service:serv...Jul 25 17:01:14 ask-04 rgmanager[2104]: Starting stopped service service:serv Failure ps -eaf | grep postgres returns nothing.
