Description of problem: Anaconda uses python-meh which uses report to send the problem reports to bugzilla to unify configuration for the bug reporting we've created a C library which should be used in every application which needs to report some problem. The plan is to provide API compatible with the old report, so hopefully no changes in the Anaconda nor the in the python-meh code will be required. So this bug is more a tracking bug for QA to give Anaconda one more slot for testing the integration with libreport. Expected results: - successfully created bugs in bz ;) - slightly different UI for targets selector (the UI where user decides where to send the report)
Is this going to require running any piece of abrt during installation?
(In reply to comment #1) > Is this going to require running any piece of abrt during installation? No, the libreport is a separated from ABRT, it's just a library - no daemon needed.

(In reply to comment #0) > Expected results: > - successfully created bugs in bz ;) Filed bug #729266 using the new functionality > - slightly different UI for targets selector (the UI where user decides where > to send the report) UI was slightly different. This was with anaconda 13.21.126
(In reply to comment #5) > this will enable reporting to: > - Red Hat support portal (rhtsupport) PASS - saved to https://api.access.redhat.com/rs/cases/00516148 using our QA account. > - localsave (logger - not sure if this is required) PASS - saved to /tmp/abrt.log > - bugzilla.redhat.com (bugzilla) > PASS - Saved to bug #729266 > - btw the current version will complain about not-running keyring - will fix it > asap (#725858) Still complains about it :)
