Description of problem:
Ran across two issues that I think need to be addressed with this field.  

The first issue is that the form accepts 'http://'.  This should get rejected and is rejected (with a bad URI error) when attempting to deploy the deployable to a pool.

The second issue, white spaces should be trimmed from the string when submitted.  Again, this was causing a bad URI error when attempting to deploy the deployable to a pool
