+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #725832 +++

A separate component is requested to report guest ids to subscription manager for the purposes of issuing certificates.

This request is for RHEL6.2 KVM Hosts that will be running RHEL5 or RHEL6 guests.

Comment 4 Ludek Smid 2011-09-01 09:26:32 UTC
*** Bug 734480 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***

Comment 7 Tomas Kopecek 2011-10-12 08:17:09 UTC
Mike: It should be present just in VT Client/Server variant? Should it be also present in both comps groups kvm/xen or somewhere else?

Comment 9 RHEL Program Management 2011-10-12 09:47:55 UTC
This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for
inclusion in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Because the affected component is not scheduled to be updated in the
current release, Red Hat is unfortunately unable to address this
request at this time. Red Hat invites you to ask your support
representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant,
in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Comment 13 Libor Miksik 2011-10-18 08:43:07 UTC
From Brian's email: Same comp groups and variants as libvirt
